The winter season in Bardonecchia offers one last magical experience. On Saturday 11 April, the Jafferau ski area will extend its opening hours into the evening, offering enthusiasts a unique opportunity to ski whilst surrounded by the colours of the alpine sunset.
As the shadows lengthen over the peaks of the Val di Susa, Jafferau transforms into a unique natural stage. It will not only be a chance to enjoy the season’s final turns on the still-perfect high-altitude snow, but a truly convivial event: the Capannina will also remain open until the lifts close, treating skiers and visitors to high-altitude aperitifs and music.
“We want to celebrate the end of the season by offering something special,” explain the organisers. “Skiing as the sun sets behind the peaks is a sensory experience that goes beyond sport, and it’s our way of thanking everyone who chose Bardonecchia this year.”
