BARDO. A SEASON FULL OF NEW FEATURES, EVENTS AND EXPERIENCES FOR EVERYONE IS ABOUT TO BEGIN

Bardonecchia is getting ready for the opening of the ski lifts scheduled for next December 6th, 2025, coinciding with the Immaculate Conception long weekend. The season opens with major new features on the slopes, a rich calendar of events, and digital services designed to make the skiing experience even simpler and more engaging.

New Features in the Ski Area

This year, the development program of the ski area has included significant investments aimed at upgrading the snowmaking system. The goal has been to guarantee high-quality snow coverage in much shorter times, even at higher altitudes. As a result, the resort now offers over 100 km of slopes, numerous innovative lifts, and runs that range from the beginner area of Campo Smith to the stunning slopes at 2800 meters on Jafferau. Thanks to the recent snowfall and the enhanced artificial snowmaking system, the ski area is in optimal condition right from the beginning of the season.

Among the most anticipated new features is the new “Bardo Race Stadium”, a fully redesigned and equipped training area ready to host clubs, committees, and competitive teams. The stadium will be available throughout the entire season, supporting the growth and visibility of the local sports sector at an international level.

Races and Events

The winter calendar will offer events for enthusiasts and athletes of every level. Some key dates include:

  • FISI races and youth competitions, including major events such as the Junior Telemark World Cup, the Italian Absolute Championships, and the Gran Premio Giovanissimi.
  • Promotional events for amateur skiers, such as King of the Park, the Italian Surveyors’ Championship, and many more.
  • Family-friendly events and equipment test days, including Bardolesa, Winterland Tour, XMaster Tour, and numerous other activities.
Official dates will be published and updated on the website www.bardonecchiaski.com.

Mountain Events and Entertainment

Alongside skiing, many initiatives return to enhance the atmosphere and hospitality of the resort. First and foremost, dinners at high altitude, with evening chairlift access and snowcat transportation. A rich calendar of gourmet evenings with authentic Alpine flavors awaits guests.
For party lovers, après-ski events with DJ sets and live music will be plentiful. To celebrate the start of the winter season, Campo Smith will host the Winter Opening Party with DJs From Mars on December 7th, 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, followed by many other events, including the Christmas Party with DJ Prezioso on December 28th from 4:30 PM.
And that’s not all: every Saturday evening will feature “Cocktail Night,” allowing guests to enjoy the mountain even after the lifts close, with exclusive drinks and high-quality live music. Events will be scheduled weekly and can be booked online.

Bardo.Shop: Skipasses and Experiences Online

Finally, to make access to the slopes easier, bardo.shop is available as the online skipass purchase platform, with pickup at automatic totems or direct recharge on a KeyCard. It is also possible to purchase gift vouchers for activities and snow experiences, such as dinners at high altitude and stays. (Christmas gift boxes will soon be available for online purchase as well.)
