Excursions at high altitude and hikes in Bardonecchia
There are numerous opportunities for walking and trekking on the mountains of Bardonecchia with the use of the chairlift system. Please find below the operational times of the chairlifts that will allow you to experience the most evocative panoramic views Bardonecchia has to offer.

In Bardonecchia and the surrounding areas there is an endless choice for mountain walkers: paths, mule tracks, military roads, from the valley to the top of the mountains, from 1300 metres to 3500 metres. The wide range of routes ensures that there is something for everyone – from those wanting a pleasant stroll to the most expert mountain walkers.
Sunlit footpaths and paths through the woods lead to some of the most famous peaks of Bardonecchia and the Upper Val di Susa: the Guglia Rossa, the Val Fredda, the Tre Croci, the Sommeiller glacier, Mount Tabor and the peaks of Pierre Menue with plenty of opportunity to stop along the way in Alpine refuges and the many mountain pastures.
For those who like walking in a group there are also organized walking trips for all ages and tastes with expert guides.

At the arrival of the Melezet chairlift, there is the departure of the "Natural Walk", an easy and pleasant walk throughout the flowered mountains where you will find indications about what you can see and allowing you discover the mountain flora and fauna. If you are a little bit lucky, maybe you will meet marmots, roes and stags. It exists two types of "Natural Walks":
- Blu Walk: From the chairlift arrival to a little fishing lake on a flat beaten earth. Duration of the walk: 10min
- Red Walk: A pleasant walk on a bend lane inside the wood. Duration of the walk: About 1 hour
